The world trade network is in constant transformation. The EU, China and the US are the most important players, but China's share in world trade is constantly growing. By 2023, the World E-Commerce Market is expected to be $6 Trillion USD. The share of e-commerce in total retail has exceeded 20%. The e-commerce market is expected to grow by an average of 10% annually by 2027. China is the largest e-commerce market in the world and has a market size of about USD 3 Trillion alone. It has about 900 Million e-commerce customers, 300 Million transact e-commerce across borders and 90% are mobile. China's e-export market is $600 Billion and the e-export market to China is $90 Billion. 46% of China's total retail market is e-commerce.
